[Cro Dreoilin] "Shoulds"

I was not one who said that but, if i may answer...
I feel that, the Gods ...as well as mortal beings, only have as much power
over you as you give them. Both can however make your life difficult if
they choose to, how you deal with that is up to you.
I personally had a case like that with a few deities in a particular
pantheon, and a couple of them made my life hel until i used some advice my
pagan brother gave me (one who dealt with that particular pantheon himself
on a regular basis). That advice was "They only have as much power over you
as you give them. Don't deal with them and don't let them get to you."
So, no; I would not "honor" (as opposed to "worship") a deity just to avoid
pissing them off.
