[Cro Dreoilin] An interesting article

I will see your quote:
"When people are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being labeled in a
negative way by those seeking power, or simply through ignorance, Liberty is
dead." - Ken Biles (1964 - )
And raise you a quote:
"I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death, your
right to say it." -- Evelyn Beatrice Hall, writing under the pseudonym of
Stephen G Tallentyre in "The Friends of Voltaire" (1906)
Back in the 1950's Senator Joseph McCarthy used the word Communist, in the
exact same way you are using the word Racist, Shaun. It got to the point
where everyone was afraid to say anything, for fear of being labeled a
Communist, and being blacklisted. A few strong individuals did eventually
stand up to the bully, and showed this country who he really was, and he
eventually left the government in disgrace.
Now, you brought up the race card Shaun, so it seems to me, by every
standard set by this country, that it is upon you to prove your accusation.
To my friends who have stood up for me: thank you, but I don't know Shaun,
so his insults carry no weight.

Hey, I'm just calling a duck, a duck. I'm not going to sit by while others
make racist remarks of contribute to the notion. It is when good people do
nothing that we lose our humanity. "The only thing necessary for the
triumph of evil is for good men (people) to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
(1729-1797).

Shaun,
I don't appreciate your attitude or tone. This is not a place to pick a
fight. If you cannot support your thoughts and opinions with clear, concise
statements that invite discussion, then please don't post. I don't know
what your problem is with Greyhart, and frankly I don't care, but I don't
need to see it dramatized online.
Abundant Blessings,
~Joy

Yep, yep and yep... It is racist and hiding the fact means your condoning
it. If you don't understand, that is your problem.

I was unaware that there was any tax revenue generated by this wedding. If
there wass a substantial amount of tax on this event, would you mind citing
for me where you go that information (not being snide, just curious). Also,
there has been a big to-do about royal weddings since there's been royalty.
Prince William getting hitched is following tradition, not a PR move.
Thank you Kyle for your post. I was just about to say the same thing, but
you go to the computer first.

Sean, the same could be said about you. You are not answering the question
put forth by Greyhart, but putting him down for asking a question.
This is a discussion group. Let's discuss, and not attack for these childish
reasons. I personally think that mixing politics and religion is a mistake.
This is why. Is it racist to ask for a proof of birth? Not really. It's the
end reason that determines that. If someone asked me for my BC, I'd be a
little confused as to why they might need it, but there are valid reasons
overall. And categorizing someone as racist for a question like that is in
poor taste. I would then be able to put silly and probably untrue labels on
everyone in this discussion because of what they have said. Will I? No.
Just sayin'...
