Greetings and Salutations!
I am one of the newbies here. I have forgotten the list of questions...
Anyway, I am interested in CR because I am already a member of ADF. After
studying Wicca (because it was the only thing out there readily available) for
years and never really having it quite "speak" to me, then stumbling clumsily
onto Druidry which for the most part is what I naturally believe anyway, it has
come to my attention that many in ADF (mostly in New England) are all fluffy
bunny sunshine and lollipops, just like all the Wiccan's I regularly piss off.
I usually get along best with those following Asatru and whatnot, but since I
tend to lean way more to the Celtic both in heritage and just general feeling, I
am not Asatru.
This group was recommended to me by a friend. However, I seriously doubt I will
actually meet many or possibly any of you, since I not only live in Texas, I
live just Southeast of Houston. So most of what I can get or give will be on
line.
It is fun to live as a Pagan in the Bible Belt! Yaay!! Anyway, Other than all
that, I am into all kinds of water sports including whitewater kayaking,
expedition canoeing, surfing, swimming, fishing, hunting and German longsword.
So, it's possible if I ever get a trip to the rivers there in Colorado, I might
get to meet some of you then, but until then, I guess on line only.
And yes, Texas has whitewater and some decent surfing if you know where and when
to go...
We home school our two boys, and they are 4th gen living in the same house. The
house (which currently needs a LOT of work) was built in 1939.
I don't know what else you might want to know....... I'm pretty open, so ask
away. And I tend to ramble...
