Being in the local Celtic music scene, I am around so many brilliant
musicians who aren't big names that I'd prefer to listen to a good
Irish music session at a pub than a concert with a big name.

I lately have been partial to the Dervish CD we bought though. My
banjo teacher also introduced me to the Irish banjo music of
Angelina Carberry who is one of the current masters. I have all of
her CD's (but being a beginner banjo player, I am partial to Irish
banjo).
If you want to sample the local scene, go to
http://www.thesession.org and search for local sessions. I do know
that Jessie Burns from Gaelic Storm does play in the Boulder session
once in a very blue moon.

I was wondering what every one's favorite celtic musical
artists are. Personally, I like Gaelic Storm, Lunasa and
Shooglenifty.
