Come join us for Latha na Cailleach, to celebrate the high point of
Spring and the end to Winter weather!

Date: 18 March 2012
Time: 1 pm
Location: We'll meet at Milliken Park (6445 South Clarkson Street,
Centennial) for games and offerings, then back to Spirit Wise for feasting.

Please bring a dish to feed 8 for feasting, as well as utensils for
yourself. Traditional and seasonal foods include:

venison
eggs
rabbits
goats
seaweed
cheese and cultured dairy
goose
fish, esp herring
corned beef - Sue will be bringing
cake - Chris and Kelley will be bringing
greens, especially dandelion - Sue will be bringing
root vegetables

Brad and Katie will also be bringing bunny-shaped rolls. >:)

Taking it Deeper, Ideas for Personal Participation in the Celebration
and the Season:

-- Women, bring a veil for your hair.
-- Bring personal offerings for Bride, Angus and/or the Cailleach, if
you wish.
-- Bring an evergreen branch to be blessed.
-- Bring an old pot and something to bang on it with.
-- We will have toasts, stories and songs during feasting, again.
Prepare one or more, if you wish!
-- It is traditional for kids to receive gifts of eggs and to cook and
eat them outdoors the next day. Let us know if you will be bringing
children, as we will bring eggs to give to each kid to eat on Monday
morning. Encourage them to handle as much of the cooking themselves as
they are able to and allow them to eat it outside.

We hope to see you all there!

-- Chris and Kelley
