Hi all,

As I have said before, I am very much into the local Denver Celtic music
Seisiun scene. As such, I tend to get news on who is in town in that
vein. Music is very important to the Celtic peoples and sometimes to
Celtic spirituality. So I thought you might be interested.

Marla Fibish, a brilliant mandolin, button accordion, tenor guitar
player, and Irish music seisiun regular in the San Francisco Bay area,
will be in town this coming weekend and giving 2 house concerts.

The first one will be Friday, 2/17/12 at 7:30pm just outside Golden Gate
Canyon State Park, a thirty to forty-five minute drive west from Golden
in the mountains.
$15 suggested donation, BYOB, potluck. Irish music seisiun to follow.
Email rgee at gee4law.com with subject "house concert" to RSVP and for
directions.

The second one will be Saturday, 2/18/12 at 7:30 pm in Erie, Colorado, a
fifteen minute drive east from Boulder.
Suggested donation $20, Hors d’Oeuvres will be provided, bring drinks to
share (alcohol welcome), Irish music seisiun to follow. Sign up at
http://irishhouseconcerts.com/ to RSVP (and subscribe to get the details
on upcoming local appearances by some of the best in Irish seisiun
music. The guy who is hosting this concert and maintains the website has
donated much of his time to the local Irish music scene and has been
hosting house concerts for years. I have never been disappointed.)

Seating is limited for both concerts so, if you're interested, reserve
early.

Both hosts are very good personal friends of mine and I am grateful they
are opening their homes up to these amazing musicians and to fans of
Irish traditional music who want to listen to them.

Donna
