[Cro Dreoilin] A film

Thanks for posting!

Where the film really shined was in the interviews about stories people
had experienced and heard. It was very good at showing some of the
remainder of the Fairy Faith and folk belief, but the historical and
mythological info was pretty inaccurate. Which makes sense: they seem to
be asking a bunch of everyday folk about history; I wouldn't expect
them to have read the Lebor Gabála Érenn or to be able to analyze the
difference between who the Tuatha de Dannan and the Celts and the
Fairies were. Also, Pagan belief about who these peoples were differed
from church belief about it.

Random notes:
-- The evil white cat was cute.
-- Dude in the overalls with the yellow jumper: Feed your kitten!
-- Appearing in this movie was Eddie Lenihan, who wrote "/Meeting the
Other Crowd: The Fairy Stories of Hidden Ireland", /a book we will
probably get around to for our Reading Group sooner or later.
